Welcome to our new little blog — a place where we can update you on life in the Bartholomew home, and post thoughts we would like to share. As you know, time can be limited here, so a blog makes sense in terms of keeping everyone up-to-date. And as home schoolers, I thought that eventually this could work a little like a school newspaper, with the boys posting their own thoughts from time to time. Besides, given that an astounding 170,000 blogs are created each day, I figured that statistically we were probably due to begin one. So here it is! We invite you to bookmark this page, comment often, and maybe even start your own blog! Everybody’s doing it.

What a wonderful idea. I know that you were looking for something to fill in all of the empty time that you have. Keep us posted on who’s sick and well and who’s naughty and nice. XOXO

Hi Bartholomews! We’re looking forward to keeping tabs on all of you on your new blog. We’d love to hear about what you’re all doing in home-schooling, what books you’re reading or games you’ve been having fun with. Love to you all, and hope all of the sicknesses are past now! Love Aunt Kathryn.

What a terrific idea to keep us all up on your activities. I must not know how to find all the postings as after the introduction I can’t find anything! I’ll keep looking. Perhaps “Stumbleupon” has captured your interest to the exclusion of your new blog! I’m busy trying all the new Stumbleupon sites you keep forwarding. Hope all is well. Love to all.

We here in Texas are moving into spring and I had my first urge to swim on Saturday. I am missing the snow and would love it if someone could share some snow pictures and stories with me! Love to all.

What fun it is to share your life with you! All your bright, shining faces bring great joy to these snowy days (actually, they bring joy to ANY day!).
Annie, you have a real future in cosmotology!
Hugs and kisses to all of you.
